Loren V. Lusikka, Age 70, of Maple, WI, died Wednesday, February 18, in his residence.

Loren was born April 27, 1955, in Ashland, WI to Mildred (Johnson) and Victor Lusikka. He was a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and retired after 36 years of service. Loren was also a member of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association. In his younger years he was an avid softball player. Loren loved golfing and the outdoors, especially hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Eino Perala. Loren is survived by his son, Matt Lusikka of Maple, WI; daughter, Jennifer Lusikka of Duluth, MN; his sister, Jane (Greg) Gullicksrud of Maple, WI and brother, Scott Perala of Woodbury, MN; also by his grandchildren, Camyrn and Weston Shepard.

A celebration of Loren's life will be held at a later date.
