Lorraine Frances DeBoer, 96, of Superior, died Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Range.

She was born June 17, 1923 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, daughter of Albert and Mathilda (Birch) Jacks.

Lorraine worked many years in the health care industry as a medical technician.

Some of her interests included sewing, needlepoint, and caring for animals - especially cats.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Harmen in 2011; brothers, Floyd and Chester Jacks; and sisters, Josephine Louko and Helen Ritschel.

She is survived by nieces, Debbie and Linda; nephew, Keith; and many friends including Cathy Whitby.

Private graveside services will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Hawthorne, at a later date.
