Lorraine A. Krooks, 94, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Superior.

She was born in Thief River Falls, MN on March 27, 1922.

Lorraine was a member of the former Hammond Avenue Presbyterian Church, where she served often as a Deacon, and United Presbyterian Church.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, A. Sherman Krooks; her parents; and siblings.

She is survived by her son, David Krooks of Champaign, IL; daughter, Barbara (Roy) Baird of Eau Claire; granddaughters, Sarah Kiefer of Eau Claire, and Stephanie Masterson of Wausau; great-grandchildren, Kira, Rylee, and Thane.

Private funeral services were held at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior.
