Lottie Louise Potter, 59, a lifelong resident of Superior, Wis. died Tues., May 20, 2014 in St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth, Minn.
She was born to Phebe E. (Trentor) and Milo D. Lane, Sr. on March 11, 1955 in Superior.
On April 24, 1974 Lottie was united in marriage to Robert E. Potter, Jr. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2002.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Milo D. Lane, Jr.; and a sister, Patricia Baker.
She is remembered by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca "Becki" and John Stradtman of Cloquet, Minn. and Suzanne "Suzi" and Jesse Olson of Superior. She was a loving Grandma to her three grandsons, Zachary and Jacob Olson and Dylan Stradtman. Also surviving are three sisters, Peggy (Rick) Sievi of Minneapolis, Minn., Doris Lane of Appleton, Wis., and Tammi (Marc) Jacobs of Superior; a brother, Jay (Joey) Lane of Crestview, Fla.; her step-father, Henry J. Lane of Warroad, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and "in-laws".
Some of her work history included being the office manager at ARC Northland in Duluth and later she had been employed at Superior's Walmart in the fabric department.
Lottie was a lifetime member of the Superior Area Council P. T. A. - Cooper Weisberg; a former longtime active member and spokesperson of the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota; and was also an active member of the former Disability Board of the City of Superior.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service on Sat., May 24th in Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. & 19th St. Rev. Michael Fossen, Pastor of Bethesda Lutheran Church, Carlton, Minn. will officiate. Committal prayers will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
