Lucy A. Herrick, 84, of Superior, died Saturday June 28, 2025, at her residence.

Lucy was born in Cable, WI on August 16, 1940, the daughter of Lester and Lillian (Thompson) Cain. She graduated from Superior Central High School with the class of 1958.

She had worked for Roth Department Store, Minnesota Power, SCCU, and JCPenney's. Lucy enjoyed tending to her flowers, bowling when she was younger, and she was an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Lillian (Carl) Bergstrom; and brother and sister-in-law, James and Barbara Cain.

Lucy is survived by her daughters, Beverly (Rick) Rochon and Julie (Doug Archambeau) Herrick both of Superior; brothers, William Cain, Donald (Gordee) Cain, and Ronald (Diana) Cain all of Superior; sisters-in-law, Irene Cain of Watertown, MN and Irene Marin of Superior; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.

A Celebration of Lucy's life will be held on Saturday, July 12th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Superior Moose Lodge, 66 E 5th St.
