Lucy A. Soderlund, 69, of Superior, died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at her Residence.

Lucy was born in Virginia, MN on May 23, 1948

She had been a housekeeper at the Best Western Bridgeview for 30 years and then worked as a bartender at the Androy Hotel. She also volunteered for many years at Faith United Methodist Church.

Lucy enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and grandkids. She was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillian Beckwell.

She is survived by her son, Jim Soderlund of Superior; special "daughter" Jaime Bubacz of Superior; grandchildren, Josh Soderlund, Brody Keeler, Devon Keeler, and Mikayla Madsen; a sister, Sandy Willett and nieces, Dawn and Jennifer Willet; and her god-daughter, Shannon Bolen and her sons, Doug and Scott;

A celebration of Lucy's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sat. Aug 26 at Faith United Methodist Church.  Rev. Joel Certa-Werner officiating.
