LylaNae Walberg, 78, of Superior, went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, July 26, 2021.

She was born in Oakes, North Dakota on August 12, 1942, the daughter of Linea (Hample) and Chance Goodwin.

LylaNae met her one true love, LeRoy Walberg on a blind date shortly after graduating from Superior Central High School in 1960 and they were united in marriage in Abilene, TX on December 30, 1961.

As an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, LylaNae served her Lord for over 50 years. Her life's mission was to share The Gospel with everyone she met.

LylaNae was a devoted wife and mother.  She also worked various jobs over the years, including J C Penney, Superior Water Light & Power, and volunteered at Bryant and Cooper Elementary Schools where she was able to use her sign language skills.

LylaNae was kind, thoughtful and generous with her time, love and attention.  When she wasn't helping others, she enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends, wintering in Florida, playing games, listening to music, attending church services and studying her bible.   She especially loved being a Gramma!

LylaNae was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William.

She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, LeRoy; daughters, Tina (J.D.) Daniels of Lantana, TX, Tammy (Todd) Hudacek of Superior, and Tracy (Paul) Weekley of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Jordan Daniels and Michael (Lena), Courtney, and Ivy Weekley; great-grandchild, Jack Weekley; sister, Karen (Richard) Tahtinen of Leesburg, FL; lifelong friend Sheila (Jim) Hansen; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior, at 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service, with Reverend Alan Schroeder officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
