Margaret Marie Erickson, 93, of Superior, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born in South Sioux City, NB, on August 17, 1925, the daughter of Hans and Betty Faye.

Margaret was a member of the Foster Grandparents Program at Lake Superior Elementary School, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Merry Widows Club, and St. Alban's Episcopal Church and its choir.

She enjoyed traveling numerous miles visiting her family throughout the United States.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Beverly; great-grandson, Trevor Mattison; and 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Glen Erickson and Brian (Joan) Erickson, both of Superior; daughter, Diana (Jim) Mattison of South Range; daughter-in-law, Kathy Erickson of Superior; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Nelson of Baxter, MN, and Sandra Faye of Ashland, WI; and several nieces and nephews.

Her visitation will be on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 1510 New York Avenue, Superior.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Superior.
