Margaret I Flynn, age 93, died peacefully at Villa Marina on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. She was born November 27, 1919, in Superior, Wisconsin to William and Augusta Hill and was a lifelong resident of Billings Park.
Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who enjoyed golfing, reading, crossword puzzles, and a good mystery. She was well known for her coffee cake, apple pies, and homemade dill pickles.
She is survived by her children, Michael Flynn, Superior; Mary (Pete) Granstrom, Superior; Peggy (Len) Campbell, Superior; Patrick (Lori) Flynn, Superior; Barb (Pete) Fischer, Albany, MN and Kelly (Howard Soypher) Flynn, New Market, MD; her grandchildren: Terra Stenberg, Anne Schultz, Joe Campbell, Chip Flynn, Matt Flynn, Kayti Flynn, Nate Fischer, Brett Fischer, and Madeline Soypher; great-grandchildren: Mason and Maggie Stenberg, Natalie and Nathan Schultz and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; brothers, Franklin, Walter, William, and Clarence, and a sister, Dorothy.
Margaret was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church, where Pastor David Schoessow will officiate at a private family service. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Margaret's children cherish their memories of a Mother who had a zest for life; she was strong-willed and independent with a sharp wit and a compassionate spirit.
