Margaret M. Hoem, 91, lifelong resident of Superior, went peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Margaret was born on March 13, 1923 the daughter of Tom and Mary Swanoski.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing and raising her children. She was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church.
Margaret is survived by her children, Marie Huber of Grafton, WI, Thomas (Georgianna) Hoem of Sheboygan, WI, Bernadette (John) Strate of New Brighton, MN, Patricia (Leon) Paulson of Cambridge, MN, Josephine (Rick Sclavi, deceased) Hoem of Superior, Cynthia (Thomas) Ledin of Superior, Brenda (Gary) Remus of Robbinsdale, MN, and Denise (Tom) O'Hara of Duluth; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and a former son-in-law, Cregg Brackman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer, and a son, Greg Hoem.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 11:30 a.m. at Bayside Baptist Church. Her daughter, Denise O'Hara will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
