Obituary

Margaret B. Larson, 93, of Superior, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.

She was born January 8, 1917 in Superior, daughter of Iver and Lena (Paulson) Pederson.

Margaret was an LPN for the former Superior Memorial Hospital and the former St. Mary's Hospital of Superior. Prior to her nursing career, she worked at Strooza's Grocery Store and the Co-op Grocery.

Her memberships included a former member of the Superior Women's Bowling League, former member of various nursing associations and a life member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Superior.

Her hobbies and special interests included gardening, golfing, bowling and bingo with her friends at Villa Rita.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Royal O. Larson in 1998; and four brothers.

Survivors include her sons, David (Sunday) Larson, College Station, Texas, and Dennis (Linda) Larson, Lincoln, Nebraska; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Arne Pederson, Lincoln, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Bethel Lutheran Church, Superior, with Pastor Gary Garnatz officiating.

Committal prayers will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.

Following the cemetery service, everyone is invited back to the church for a luncheon.

If friends desire, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center for their excellent care, and all of Margaret's friends at Villa Rita for their loving support.
