Margaret “Marge” Crabtree. Age 89, of Superior died Wednesday July 8, 2026.

She was born on November 6, 1936, in Superior to Joseph and Lillian (Melster) Rotsaert. Marge married Loyd Crabtree on July 25, 1981, in Cloquet, MN and they celebrated 28 years of marriage before he passed away on May 22, 2009. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Superior.

Marge is survived by two daughters, Karen (Mark) Northrup of Hudsonville, MI, Sharon (Greg) Fiebiger of Shoreview, MN; two step-daughters, Brenda (Ron) Huisinger of Cloquet, MN, Barbara (Jim) Crabtree of Northglenn, CO; two step-sons, Brian (Sharon) Crabtree of Bishop GA, and Brad Crabtree of Canon City, CO; four grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren and ten great grandchildren as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Loyd, Marge is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Jim Rotsaert, Pat Berg and Mary Jo Tyler and her former husband Duane B. Johnson.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday September 19, 2026, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Superior with Fr. Andrew Ricci. Luncheon will follow. Inurnment in St. Francis Cemetery.
