Marge A. Brown, 63, of Superior, died on Friday September 13, 2024, at Solvay Hospice House after a long courageous battle with cancer, with her loving husband by her side.

Marge was born in Superior on June 5, 1961, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Erickson) Ostrowski. She graduated from Superior Senior High School with the class of 1979.

She had worked as cook for Catholic Charites and the Douglas County Jail.

Marge enjoyed fishing, gardening and going to sporting events. She also enjoyed cooking and trips to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jane Ostrowski; and brother, Kenneth Ostrowski.

Marge is survived by her husband, Tim whom she shared 35 years with; sisters-in-law, Beth (Steve) Hendry of Superior, and Becky (Jeremy) Peterson of Twig; and nieces and nephews, Nicole and Brooke Hendry and Lily and Axel Peterson.

A Celebration of Marge's Life will be held on Thursday Sept. 19th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 service at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St, with Gary Banker as officiant.
