Margie A. Bleskan, 74, of Superior, died Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Solvay Hospice House, Duluth.

She was born November 4, 1945 in Superior, daughter of Alvin and Genevieve (Lazarski) Swanson.

Margie Swanson and James Bleskan were united in marriage on May 10, 1969 at Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior.

After many years in Superior, then Duluth, Margie retired as a manager for Beneficial Finance.

She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King, the church choir and was a sacristy volunteer.

Some of Margie's interests included making stained glass, shooting pistols and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Nick Swanson.

In addition to her husband, James, survivors include her sisters, Sandra (Norman) Lier, Cross Plains, WI, and Angie (Ernie) Harker, Superior; brother, Jeffrey (Michael Thiele) Swanson, Wauwatosa, WI; nieces, Jana (Steve) Olson, Fitchburg, WI, Amber (Zac) Seffrood, Spring Green, WI, and Paige (Joey Grim) Harker, St. Paul, MN; a grand-niece and grand-nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be at St. Ann's Cemetery, Blueberry.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Cathedral School, Superior.
