Margie M. Larson, 92, of Superior, died Friday, January 2, 2015, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
She was born January 21, 1922, in Glenwood, Iowa, daughter of Earl and Elsie (Baker) Gray.
Margie's outside the home work history included Schultz Brothers, Ladysmith, Wisconsin; W.T. Grant and Jeno's. Inside the home she raised ten children.
Her primary focus and love was spending time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Leo E. Larson in 1988; and son, David Larson in 2004.
Survivors include her 5 daughters, Judy Swenson, Janette, Joyce, Wendy and Cindy Larson; 4 sons, Donald (Bonnie) Larson, Duane, Randy and Kurt (Paula) Larson; sister, Carol Raber; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until the 1 p.m. service Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Reverend Greg Gullicksrud, pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church, Superior, will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Donald Larson, Kurt Larson, Eric Larson, Larry Nunn, Earl Gray and Steven Goutcher. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Larson, Zander Bates, James Nunn and Jayden Larson.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Superior.
