Marguerite "Maggie" Androsky, nee Stannard, lost her battle with cancer surrounded by family, on Friday, September 2, 2016, at the age of 76.
Maggie was born May 5, 1940 in Superior, daughter of James and Elizabeth (Sweeney) Stannard.
She married Donald Androsky on December 13, 1971.
After retirement from Tyson Foods, Maggie served as a home health aide, providing care to many patients who considered her a friend.
Maggie was an avid gardener and a devote Packers fan. She was known for her love of cats, her delicious cooking and her willingness to open her home to welcome loved ones and friends. Her greatest joy and love was for her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; several siblings; and one infant son, Kirk Nord.
Maggie is remembered in love by her husband, Don Androsky of Superior; daughters, Karen (Jim) Rose of South Range and Robin (Punky) Dallman of Oliver; sons, George (Tammy) Nord of Superior and Steve (Kris) Androsky of Waukesha; siblings, Sally Geisert, David (Frannie) Stannard, Stevie Stannard, and James "Jimbo" Stannard; her stepchildren; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Reverend Father Andrew Ricci will officiate.
The family invites everyone to a luncheon at the Oliver Town Hall immediately following the service.
A private committal service will be held at the Bennett Cemetery, Bennett, WI, at a later date.
