Marian E. Ellison's Obituary
Marian E. Ellison 86, of Superior died Monday June 11, 2012 in Essentia- St Mary's in Duluth.
Marian was born in Superior to Ernest and Elsie (Knower) Ellison on December 22, 1925, and was a lifelong resident.
She was employed as an assistant to the Superintendent of schools in the Superior school district.
Marian was a member of The United Presbyterian Church, where she was a longtime volunteer, a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for 58 years, a member of the retiree's Secretaries of the Board of Education, and friendship of her graduation club.
She was a loving caregiver to her Mother and Father, and a good friend to many. She will be fondly remembered.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Lorraine M Ellison.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 in United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joel Huenemann officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to United Presbyterian Church, 229 N. 28th St E. Superior.
