Marianne E. Frye, 81, of Wascott, Wis. died Tues., Dec. 14, 2010 in St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Paul, Minn.
Marianne was born Jan. 9, 1929 in Oak Park, Ill. to Elizabeth (Wanderer) and Bernhard Reinsch and had been an area resident since 1970.
She was a professor of Business Education at the University of Wisconsin- Superior.
Marianne was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Spooner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gustav W. Frye on Oct. 15, 2001 and also a brother, Robert Reinsch.
She is survived by her sons, Roger (Hanna) Icenogle of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., and Don (Arlene) Frye of Thorpe Wis.; daughters, Ellen Marie (Greg) Wallace of Tinley Park, Ill. and Teresa Ann (Jim) Schuh of Napa Calif.; a brother, Arthur Reinsch of Orlando, Fla.; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be in the Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. & 19th St., Superior, Wis. from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 220 Elm St., Spooner, Wis. on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Fr. Robert Rodgers officiating. Committal prayers will be in the Wascott Cemetery.
