Marie Winifred Dahl, 100, of Superior, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Range.

She was born July 29, 1913 in Duluth, daughter of John and Clara (Burmiester) Farmer.

Marie was a 1933 graduate of Superior Central High School and later Superior Normal Teachers College.

Her memberships included Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Deborah Circle, and she was also a Sunday school teacher. She was active in many local organizations, including United Commercial Travelers.

In addition to her husband, Herbert; she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lloyd (Adeline), James (Clare Marie), and Robert; and sister, Marjorie.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 30, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior.

Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Superior.
