Marilyn M. (Leggate-Tappen) Wallgren, 80, of Superior, Wis. died Fri., Oct. 25, 2013 in Golden Living Center. She was born Nov. 16, 1932 in Superior to Grace (McDougall) and William Jensen.
She was a former member of the Elks Lodge and the V. F. W. Aux.
In her later years she enjoyed camping at Birchwood Campground in Iron River, the "snow bird" time in Florida and also being a foster grandparent at Bryant School.
Marilyn is lovingly remembered by her children, Robert (Dorothy) Leggate and Kathryn (Donald) Jorgenson all of Lake Nebagamon, Wis.; William (Mary) Leggate of Solon Springs, Wis.; Debbie (Jack) Bachinski of Foxboro, Wis.; Sandy (John Verlooy) Hotop of Cloquet, Minn.; Anne Schuster of Eau Claire, Wis.; Penny (Scott) Larson of South Range, Wis.; and Tom Leggate of Ramsey, Minn.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews, Kenneth and James White; and a niece, Laurie (Paul) Tousignant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Thomas Leggate, Milton Tappen and Jack Wallgren; and a sister, Marlene Sauter.
Her graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 30th at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Sarah Kerkes, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church officiating.
