Marjorie "Marge" R. Duncan, 88, of Superior, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Solvay Hospice House, Duluth.

She was born October 1, 1928, in Ishpeming, Michigan, daughter of Charles and Sanna Valimaki.

Marge's clerical career started with Illinois Bell Telephone Company in Chicago, then Kemper Insurance Company, then opening a new Montgomery Wards store in Ishpeming, Michigan, then Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina and retired from Pickens County Courthouse in Pickens, South Carolina.

She enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles and visiting with people.

Preceding her in death was her husband, William in 1989.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service, Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pickens, South Carolina.
