Marjorie J. (Wells) Stromberg, 75, of Superior, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.
Marjorie was born on July 27, 1939 the daughter of Day and Aletha Wells. She graduated from Central High School, class of 1957. After high school, she married Richard Stromberg, Sr.
She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She had worked in food service with the School District of Superior.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard, Sr.; grandson, Brett Plunkett; and brothers and sisters, Day Wells, Jim Wells, Roberta Swenda, Jeanette Griffin, Irvin Wells, and Florence.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Julie (James) Plunkett, Lisa (Edward) Plachta, Richard (Sue Wentz) Jr., and Colleen Stromberg; grandchildren, Carrie (Matt) Lein, Jennie (Bryan) Tribbey, Crystal (Travis Sotona) Plunkett, Jennifer (Lee) Danielson, Patrick (Maria) Plachta, Derrick (Jessica) Stromberg, Ericka (Austin Rockwell) Stromberg, Julia (Stromberg) Lane, and Ashley and LeeAnn Stromberg; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth & Allen Lein, Parker, Chase & Paislee Danielson, Cecilia Stromberg, Lilyana Rockwell and Gabriel Tribbey; a special nephew, Doug Wells; brothers and sisters, Dick Wells, Marvin Wells, Marie Barton, Sandy Wells and Karen Wells; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Fox and the Nursing staff on 3E at Essentia, PA Tom Ward, the staff at Villa Marina and Solvay Hospice House, and her neighbor, Charlie Nelson.
