Marjory L. Asbury's Obituary
Marjory L. Asbury, 97, of South Range, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Range.
She was born September 19, 1916, in Frazee, Minnesota, daughter of Frederick and Agnes (Schwoboda) Howenstine.
Marjory enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, cooking and donating funds to various causes.
She was a former member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and it's ladies circle.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William in 1999; great-grandson, Nicholas Ball; and brother and sister-in-law, Leslie and Betty Howenstine.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Leonard) Peterson, Gordon, Wis.; son, Wayne (Patricia) Asbury, South Range, Wis.; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In honor of the decedent's wishes, there will be no formal visitation or service at the funeral home. There will be committal prayers at Parkview Cemetery, Hawthorne, for family and close friends, on Monday, June 9, 2014, at 1:00 p.m.
