Mark Steven Anderson, 53, resident of Milwaukee, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 30th, 2020 at home.

He was born December 1, 1966 in Shell Lake, WI, the son of David E. Anderson and Mary L. (Roy) Colborn.

Mark grew up in Superior and graduated from Superior High School in 1985. He later relocated to Milwaukee, where he worked as an independent contractor in the roofing and siding industry.

Mark was an avid sports player and spectator. He enjoyed them all and truly loved hockey. He was a big fan of the Superior Spartans and followed them throughout the years. He especially loved being "up north" and spending time at Wisconsin Point, Canal Park and tubing down the Namekagon River. His sense of humor and quick wit got you laughing and made you smile.

Mark really loved his children, as they made him proud and happy. He will forever be missed by them and his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Piper, Minneapolis, Tapenga, TX, and Cassidy, Milwaukee;  sons, Mark and Caden, both from Milwaukee; mother, Mary L. (Roy) Colborn, Foxboro; sisters, Debra (Patrick) Reilly, MA, and Deb (Jim) Colborn, MN; brothers, Aaron (Mary) Anderson-Petroske, Superior, James (Sandi) Colborn, Superior, and Mike (Cindy) Colborn, MN;  and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, David E. Anderson; maternal grandparents, Ken and Myrtle Kling; and paternal grandparents, Walt and Doris Anderson.

A private service will be held at a later date.
