Mark J. Berg, 72, of Patzau, died Saturday December 29, 2018 at Villa Marina Health and Rehab.

Mark was born on June 5, 1946 in Duluth, the son of Russell and Catherine Berg.

He had worked for Barko Hydraulics and then owned and operated Superior Quality Sandblasting and Painting. He enjoyed working on mechanical equipment.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Charlotte, son Todd and brother, Timothy.

Mark is survived by his son, Jeff (Lisa) Berg of Superior; grandchildren, Mike (Cortney) Berg, Nick Berg, Ashley (Zak) Mohr, Felisha Andrews; great-grandchildren, Mikaila, Myia, Todd, Marlee, Levi, Ryleigh; niece and nephews, Krista, Donny and Dave Mattson; mother of his children, Carol Bolin; and his best friends, Reggie Myers and Randy Ayers.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 9 ^th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St. Burial will be at a later date in Summit Cemetery.
