Marcus 'Mark' L. Crase. It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Crase announces his passing on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the age of 85 years old.

Mark will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by Judy, his wife of 57 years, as well as his three sons, Mark (Peggy), Scott (Christy), and Jeff (Kristi). Mark will also be fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren: Matthew (Danielle), Brian, Shawn, Jason, Natalie, Teagan, Josh, Kaili, Joesph, and Mark; his two surviving sisters Char (Ed) and Mary (Al), and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Mark grew up in Iron River, WI and was a longtime resident in Superior, WI before retiring back out in Iron River. Mark served proudly in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a mechanic for the city of Superior, where he was in charge of all the school buses maintenance and mechanical upkeep. Mark was an active member of Iron River High School's class of 1951. He loved to sing and play pool and was an avid Packer fan.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 24 from 5-7p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St, Superior. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 10:00 am. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in memory of Mark at St. Michael Catholic Church, 68105 S George St, Iron River, WI 54847. Rev. Fr. Michael Crisp as celebrant.

Burial will be in Iron River City Cemetery with Military Honors.
