Mark D. Hasselblad, 70, of Superior, died Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

He was born on November 20, 1953, in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Eugene and Rita (Lange) Hasselblad.

His work history centered around furniture upholstering. He learned his craft working in some of the large factories down south, before moving back to Wisconsin to build his own business.

Mark enjoyed motorcycling, especially on his Honda Magna and Honda Goldwing. He also loved to walk every morning with his dog, Fez. Other interests of his included bird watching and going out to eat.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Joyce Hasselblad.

Survivors include his son, David Hasselblad, Superior; stepson, Michael (Brianne) Williams, Ohio; grandchildren, Graham and Isabella Williams and his brother, Bruce Hasselblad.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date.
