Obituary

Mark G. Smith, 54, of Lake Nebagamon, died Sunday, October 8, 2017.

He was born November 27, 1962 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, son of John and Doris (Hagen) Smith.

His work history started with Sherwin Williams as a store manager for 9 years, followed by a sales representative for DSC Communications for 22 years.

Mark was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Lake Nebagamon, Superior Jaycees, and the Lake Nebagamon Village Board.

Some of his interests included duck and deer hunting, golfing, history, boating, fishing, jet skiing, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, life on Lake Nebagamon, and his greatest love was his children and supporting them at their sporting and school events.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Diane (Sheahan) Smith; sons, Sean Smith and Connor Smith, both of Lake Nebagamon; daughters, Krystle (Travis Koceja) Smith, Shakopee, Minnesota, Kiernan Smith and Reese Smith, both of Lake Nebagamon; granddaughter, Adriana Koceja, Shakopee, Minnesota; 2 sisters and a brother; and his canines, Duke (friend and hunting companion) and Lexie (arch nemesis).

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, October 21, 2017, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Lake Nebagamon.  Reverend Father Adam Laski will be the celebrant.

Pallbearers will be Sean Smith, Connor Smith, Larry Sheahan, Travis Koceja, Brian Shaver, Tom Chambers.

Burial will be at the Lake Nebagamon Cemetery.
