Marvin Lee Hugdahl, 60, of Hawthorne, died Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth.

He was born May 28, 1964, in Superior, son of Sally A. (McFarlin) and James O. Hugdahl.

Marv worked several years as a manager for Lloyd Currie and Sons, Duluth, and when they closed, he went into business for himself as a private contractor.

On December 9, 2024, in Superior, after a 10-year courtship, Linda Marie (Flood) Rossi and Marvin Lee Hugdahl were united in marriage.

Marv loved fishing in the Boundary Waters, spending time with his grandkids, helping family and friends with various projects, talking with people, and being a loving husband.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; son, Casey (Kimberly) Hugdahl, Solon Springs; grandchildren, Bradley and Leela; and siblings, Debbie (Randy) Stewart, Superior, Brian Hugdahl, Hawthorne, and Brenda (Jim) Walberg, Bennett.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service, Friday, January 31, 2025, at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N. 34th Street, Superior, with Reverend Mark Holmes officiating.
