Mary A. Zahradnik, 64, of Superior, died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Superior Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Chicago, IL, on January 14, 1955, the daughter of Lee and Theresa Zahradnik.

Mary was a member of Tristone Baptist Church in Middleton, Ohio. She enjoyed being at church on Sundays and also enjoyed cooking.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Jack, Chukuma, and Louis Zahradnik.

She is survived by her children, Jasmine McDonald of Superior, Joann McDonald of Gary, IN, and Joseph McDonald II of Superior; grandchildren, Dajure McDonald, Melody Johnson, Kamya Sykes, Shawn McDonald, Carlton Garner, Jr., Janiya McDonald, and Caleb McDonald; step-grandchildren, Darryl Jones, Devonte Jones, Kiera Jones, SirJonathan Paul, MizJanetta Paul, Marquis Chapman Jr., and Jaylen Chapman; and niece, Kathy Cossio.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior.
