MaryBeth Day, 59, of Hibbing, MN formerly of Superior WI, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 7,2023, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

MaryBeth was born in Minot, ND on July 23, 1964 to RoseMary (Vetter) and Raymond Hildenbrand. She married her high school sweetheart Michael Day at St. Francis Catholic Church on Saturday, December 10, 1983. MaryBeth spent 26 years working as a medical coder with Essentia Health, where co-workers became family. Despite having a large family MaryBeth always made time for everyone, whether it be dinners, campfires or following various sporting events. Following her grandchildren and spending every chance she could with them was to her true passion.

MaryBeth enjoyed camping with family, watching stock car races with Mike, caring for her loving pets Dakota and Dewey, and shopping in her spare time. She was a member of the St. Joseph's church in Chisholm along with the CCW group and formerly a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Superior.

MaryBeth was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Hildenbrand, and her sister-in-law Deanne Hildenbrand.

Survivors include her husband, Michael; her mother, RoseMary (Vetter) Hildenbrand; her sons, Nathan (Sasha) Day and Cody Day; her grandchildren, Greyson, Treston and Haidyn; her brother Douglas Hildenbrand; her sister, Charlotte (Jim) Hannula; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at St. Francis Catholic Church, with Fr. Paul Strommer officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Superior.
