Matthew J. Higgins, 46 of Boulder CO, died unexpectedly Saturday November 16, 2024 in Colorado.

Matt was born in Duluth on Sept. 12,1978, the son of Roger and Patricia (Hase) Higgins. He graduated from Superior Senior High School with the class of 1997.

Matt attended UMD and UWS earning his bachelor's degree. He had most recently been working in IT.

Matt was an avid mountain biker and enjoyed the freedoms and fresh air of Colorado. He loved riding motorcycles and was a car enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger and nephew, Ryan Moore.

Matt is survived by his mom, Pat Higgins of Superior; brothers, Thomas (Cheryl) Moore, Michael Moore, and Robert (Debbie) Moore; and his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A graveside service will be announced and held at Lake Nebagamon Cemetery.
