Merwin "Mickey" Lee Kinnee, 82, of Superior, died Saturday, February 24, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mickey was born May 3, 1941, in Superior, son of Orville and Evelyn (Culliton) Kinnee.

From 1958 to 1962 Mickey honorably served his country with the U.S. Navy.

On July 11, 1970, in Superior, Merwin Kinnee and Dianna Johnstad were united in marriage.

His work history included the Burlington Northern Railroad and Superior Wood Systems retiring in 2006.

Some of his interests and hobbies included bowling, softball, golf, watching his grandchildren's sports and activities, and spending time with his wife and family.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Dianna (Johnstad) Kinnee; children, Richard (Lisa), Rodney, and Tammy (Allan); 9 grandchildren, Kimberly, Dustin, Cody, Adam, Evan, Zachary, Nicholas, Amber, and Jonathon; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Mickey's life will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Dodgie's Tavern, 2114 East 5th Street, Superior, from 2 until 6 p.m.
