Michael J. Kauti, Sr., 52, of Duluth, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2021.

He was born August 8, 1969 in Superior.

He worked as a cab driver for Courtesy Cab.

Mike had a heart of gold. He always had a smile on his face and his gentle voice was full of kindness and compassion.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Kauti.

Survivors include his wife, Julie; mother, Kay LeDoux, Spooner; sister, Tara Neigebauer, Superior; children, Michaela, Michael Jr., Shaiyanne and Laura, all of Superior; granddaughter, Riley; special aunt, Billie VanErt, Hawthorne; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew.

A celebration of life will be held at Whispering Pines Church, 7523 S. County Road E., Hawthorne, on Friday, August 27 ^th , with a visitation at 4 until the 5 p.m. service.
