Michael J. 'Mickey' Peters, 61, of Superior, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at his home.

He was born in Superior on January 4, 1956, the son of William and Marialyce Peters.

Mickey worked for the City of Superior's maintenance crew for many years before his retirement.  He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and picking blueberries.  Mickey loved being with his family, especially his great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Michael, whom was named after Mickey.

Mickey is survived by his sister, Kathy Olson of Marshfield, WI; brother, Jim (Kay) Peters of Superior; nephew, Bart (Katrina) Isaacson; niece, Lisa (Jim Lewelling) Isaacson; great-nieces and nephews; and many friends whom were like family to him.

Private family services will be held at a later date in Phillips, WI.
