Michael Robert Seim, 50, lifelong resident of Superior, died Friday, July 9, 2021, in his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born on February 12, 1971, in Superior, the son of Robert and Rose (Parker) Seim.

Caring for those in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers was Mike's passion.  He worked as a C.N.A. for many years in the Twin Ports.

Mike loved rummage sales, listening to music, watching the world news, and visiting with friends. He also loved giving his dog Rosie a ride and going on vacations before he got sick. His favorite holiday was Christmas.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Parker, and Robert Sr. and Bernice Seim.

Mike is survived by his parents; sister, Tonya (Nathan) Johnstad; nieces, Addison, Ayla and Taylor; his dog, Rosie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 15, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

The family invites everyone to a luncheon at the Parkland Town Hall, following the service.
