Michael T. Sharp, 74, of Foxboro, died Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

Michael was born in Superior on July 10, 1948, the son of Gladys (Lindgren) and William Sharp. He graduated from Superior Senior High School with the class of 1966, and in 1970 earned a bachelor's degree from UW-Superior where he was also a member of ROTC.

He served his country US Air Force from 1970-76.

Mike had worked for the BNSF railroad, was an electrician for Georgia Pacific, and retired from J&B Trucking. He was a jack of all trades who enjoyed spending time woodworking in his workshop, working with heavy equipment and tractors. Heaven on earth for him was 'home'.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Stacy Sharp.

Michael is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda; daughter, Amy (Paul Stein, Jr.) Sharp of Superior; adopted grandchildren, Emma and Kendall Steier; siblings, William (Sharon) Sharp of Coatesville, PA, Tim (Amy) Sharp of Superior, Elizabeth Killalea of Solon Springs, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Christ Lutheran Church, 320 N 28 ^th St., Superior, with Rev. Kirk Schield as officiant.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
