Michael Robert Sislo, 27, of Superior, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 5, 2013, at his residence.
He was born February 11, 1986 in Warren, Michigan, son of Sherry (Sislo) and Robert Davis III.
Michael was a graduate of Superior High School and had worked at Super One.
Some of his interests included graphic design, making others laugh, fishing, and caring for others. Yes, Michael was a very gifted, kind and gentle young man with a wonderful sense of humor and a great allegiance to his friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Frank Sislo and Robert Davis Jr.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Sherry and Kevin LaMar, Superior; father, Robert Davis III, Warren, MI; brothers, Aaron Sislo, Superior and Eric Spragg, Duluth; sister, Nicholle Spragg, Duluth; half-brother, Ryan Davis, Michigan; maternal grandmother, Margaret Sislo, Superior; step-brothers, Colin Peterson, John LaMar and Luke Olson, all of Superior; step-sister, Holly LaMar, Duluth; step-grandmother, Mary Sislo, St. Claire Shores, MI; aunt, Suzanne Sislo, Shullsburg, WI; cousins, Kayla and Andrew Leitzinger, Shullsburg, WI; best friend, Aaron Androsky, Minneapolis, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Reverend Gary Garnatz, pastor of Bethel Lutheran Church, will officiate.
