Michael Andrew Ziegler, Jr., 3 ½ year old son of Melissa Carlson and Michael Ziegler, Sr., passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 29, 2015, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Michael was born December 3, 2011, in Duluth, Minnesota. He lived the last 2 years of his life in Appleton, Wisconsin, and had many good memories spent with his family in Superior as well.

His most recent of many passing obsessions was for MARVEL superheroes Captain America and Hulk! Doggies of ANY sort, the Children's Museum and Memorial Park in Appleton were just some of many things that brought out his contagious smile and sweet laughs.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Nathan and Susan Arias; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Patty Johnson and Andrew Ziegler and Ginger Butterworth; maternal great-grandparents, Bill Williams and Barbara Dahl; paternal great-grandparents, Richard and Violet Rusch and Al Schultz and Mary Ziegler; aunts, Andrea Carlson, Alexis "Lexi" Johnson and Jennifer Butterworth; uncle, Josh Johnson; and last but not least, Gram and Poppa's puppies, Tek and Mickey.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the 12 noon service, Monday, July 6, 2015, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Avenue, Superior. Reverend Sarah Kerkes will officiate.

Interment will be in the Polish Catholic Cemetery, Duluth.
