Milton K. Schroeder's Obituary
Milton K. Schroeder passed to eternal life with Jesus on Thursday, February 24th, 2011. Milt was born to Milo and Ella Schroeder on January 20, 1920.
He served in World War II as an Army-Air Force Tech-Sergeant stationed on Iwo Jima. He was employed by Superior Water Light & Power for over 40 years retiring in 1981. He worked as a draftsman and, then, Purchasing Agent.
Brother, Herb; sisters Vivian and Evelyn have preceded him in Heaven.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean; children, Jeffery (Janet), Marilyn Magnuson, and Steven; grandsons, Garett Schroeder, Neil (Jennifer) Schroeder, and great-grandson, Brandt Schroeder; niece and nephews; and cousins.
Celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 12:00-noon at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Ave, Superior, WI with Pastor Sarah Kerkes, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. is assisting the family with arrangements.
