Myrtle I. Knezevich, 85 years, born in Billings Park, life-long resident of the Twin Ports, passed away October 15, 2010 in Woodbury, MN.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Dushan "Duke" Knezevich; first husband, Edmund Kazubouski; parents, Charles and Leona Campbell; brothers, Robert, LeRoy, and Leonard Campbell; brother-in-law, Orville Hursh; and most recently, nephew Scott Campbell.
She is survived by step-children, Gina (Tim) Howard, George Knezevich, Dushan (Marija) Knezevich; grandchildren, Brian, Natalija, Nicholas, and Michael Knezevich, Shawn Howard, Aleksandar, Milica, and Ana Knezevich; sister, Delores "Tootie" Hursh; sisters-in-law, Leone "Lee" Campbell and Barbara Campbell; nephew and nieces, Len (Peggy) Campbell, Barbie (Bruce) Edwards, Cindy (Rob) Downs, and Laurie (Karl) Siehs.
Myrtle was a loving and loyal wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, and music, and enjoyed her hobbies; crocheting, cooking, baking, decorating for the holidays, and word puzzles.
Funeral service 11a.m, Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, Wis. Visitation will begin at 9:30a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Billings Park. Interment will be in Oneota Cemetery, Duluth.
