Nevola Jean Smull, 91, of Superior and formerly of Duluth, died Thursday, February 9, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospice, Duluth.

She was born November 6, 1931, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of Cecil and Florence Smull.

Nevola worked for Goodwill, Duluth Shelter Workshop, and Jeno's for many years.

Some of her interests included drawing, ceramics and word searches.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Lundgren, Sr.; daughter, Lily Whitman; and brother, Kenneth Smull.

Survivors are her children, Robert Lundgren, Connie (Tom) Podgorak, and George (Kathleen) Lundgren, all of St. Francis, MN, and Raymond (Laurie) Roberts, Duluth; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn.

A celebration of Nevola's life will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from noon until the 1:00 p.m. service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.
