Nichole M. Phillips, 43, of Superior, WI, passed away on February 8, 2024, at her residence.

Nichole was born in Duluth, MN, on October 4, 1980, the daughter of Jodi Johnson and Wayne Askelson.

Nichole was so full of life and loved to make people laugh. She was always ready for a new adventure. Nichole was a crafty person and she liked to make cups and candles. She was also a very selfless person and made her family and dog her priority. Nichole always looked out for others before herself.

She will be deeply missed by her coworkers and her family.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Erik Askelson.

Nichole is survived by her fiancé, Rob Reeve; children, Joel Johnson and Hailie Johnson; parents, Jodi Johnson and Wayne Askelson; and brother, Korey (Jenna) Askelson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th St. with Gary Banker officiating.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024, at the Park Point Beach House.
