Nina E. Rivard, 100, of Superior, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Superior.

Nina was born in Superior on Aug. 31, 1910 the daughter of Ida (Mattson) and Swan Johnson.

She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She enjoyed going dancing, trips to the casino and keeping up with current events by reading the paper. She was a Packer Fan and loved working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed spending time at their cabin on Person Lake.

Nina was preceded in death by her first husband, George Oesterreich, Sr.; daughter, Carol Gallik; daughter-in-law, Jean Oesterreich; grandchildren Matthew and Barb; two brothers, Carl and Walter; and a sister, Helen.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Oliver; three sons, Jack (Naudean) Oesterreich, George Oesterreich, Jr., and Robert (Kathy) Rivard all of Superior; son-in-law, Bill Gallik of Superior; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her memorial service will be on Mon. Mar. 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church. Rev. Joel Certa-Werner will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior.

If desired memorials may be made in Nina's name to Faith United Methodist Church.
