Patricia A. Anderson, 86, died Monday, January 16, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

She was born in Dairyland, WI, on December 18, 1930, the daughter of John and Gertrude Eastman.

Patricia was an engineer for the Superior School District.  She enjoyed playing cards with friends, reading, painting, and camping.  Her faith in God and involvement in the church were very important to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Anderson; son, William L. Day, Jr.; former spouse, William L. Day, Sr.; and siblings, Hazel Schlais, Shirley Norkunas, Ray Eastman, and Sharon Dray.

Patricia is survived by her children, Susan (Paul) Merwine, Bellevue, NE, Michael (Lynn Chaffey) Anderson, Minong, WI, Ricky (Cheryl) Anderson, Lakeside, WI, Paul (Dawn) Anderson, Eagan, MN; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, John 'Jack' (Sharon) Eastman, Bakersfield, CA, Beverly Ayers, Cloquet, Robert Eastman, Terre Haute, IN, and Dan (Valerie) Eastman, Superior; sister-in-law, Jean Eastman, Superior; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, at First Evangelical Covenant Church from 5 to 7 p.m.  The visitation will resume on Saturday, January 21, at 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service.  Rev. Luke Oliver will officiate.

Burial will be in Summit Cemetery in the spring.
