Patricia "O'Keefe" Moselle's soul departed from her body on December 12, 2011 at the Benedictine Healthcare Center.
Pat was born on Sept. 13, 1928 in Superior to Owen J. and Teresa O'Keefe.
Pat attended Superior State University, now UWS. She worked at the university bookstore as a limited time employee and the old St. Mary's Hospital. Pat also volunteered in the Teacher-Mom program at Cooper School. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends each week. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish.
She married Dominic Moselle on December 30, 1950 at Cathedral of Christ the King. They shared 59 beautiful years of marriage.
Pat was blessed with many different skills. She loved to knit, crochet, sew and reupholster furniture. Her greatest loves thought were her family, going to Mass and praying the rosary. She cherished all three of these. Her best known gifts were how she loved and did everything for her family!!!!
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the care and love given by the staff at the Benedictine Healthcare Center, Westwood Terrace, and the Pastoral Care Team at Cathedral of Christ the King. A special thank you to Fr. Brian Schultz and Fr. John Beckfelt for their many personal blessings and support for Pat and her family.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Dom; granddaughter, Christina Moselle; sisters, Mary (Norm) Hinkel, Kathleen (Joe) Anderson; brothers, Owen J. (Gail) O'Keefe and Robert J. O'Keefe.
Pat is survived by sons, Gene (Roberta) Moselle and Mark (Sandy) Moselle, Superior; daughter, Susan (Michael) Collins, Superior; eight grandchildren, Sarah Moselle, Jason, Tony, and Jennifer Moselle and Michael, Scott, Joe and Bill Collins; great-grandchildren, Christina and Robert; sister-in-law, Elizabeth; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 until the 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior, with Reverend Father Andrew Ricci as celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
Pallbearers will be Pat's grandchildren.
The Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, is assisting the family with arrangements.
