Patrick E. Collins, 87, of Superior, died Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Aspen Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Range, WI.

He was born June 28, 1936, in Superior, son of Edward and Rose (Winek) Collins.

On March 10, 1957, in Meadowlands, Minnesota, Patrick Edward Collins and Dona Rae Rink were united in marriage.

Pat proudly served his country with the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge.

He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the American Legion.

Some of his interests included golfing, fishing, watching movies, going to the horse track and casino. One of his favorite foods was fried chicken.

For many years Pat worked for Jeno Palucci as one of his managers. He also worked at Hol-Rye Bakery in Duluth and for 12 years was a school bus driver in Champlin, MN.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; and four siblings, Carol, Janice, James and Patsy.

Survivors include his children, Jeff (Teri) Collins, Superior, Matt (Cindy) Collins, Arkansas, John Collins, Rob (Denise) Collins, Minneapolis, MN, and Kelly Krivinchuck, Barnes, WI; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and siblings, Dennis Collins, Sturtevant, WI, Sherry (Joe) Mackiewicz, Superior, Sandy (Doug) Burham, Minneapolis, MN, and Kathy (Kenneth) Reed, Superior.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date with the Very Reverend Father James Tobolski officiating.
