Patrick H. Juno, 79, of Superior, died Sunday August 14, 2016, at his residence.

He was born in Superior on September 28, 1936, the son of Henry and Frances Juno.

From 1953 to 1957, Pat honorably served his country with the U.S. Air Force.

Patrick married Joan M. Stuhr on June 18, 1960 in Maple Lake, MN.

Pat sailed the Great Lakes for 5 years before starting his career of over 40 years at Duluth Steam. Following his retirement, he started his own company, Pat's Meter Service.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing trips to Canada, camping, golfing, reading non-fiction books, woodworking, carpentry, bowling, music, dancing, and traveling. He was a member of the American Legion Post 435, a volunteer driver for veterans and the rail road crew transport, and was a ranger at Norwood Golf Course.

Preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Nancy Clarke and Frank Juno.

Patrick is survived by his wife of over 56 years, Joan; children, John (Ericka) Juno of Omaha, NE, Michelle (Mark) Eastman of Superior, Michael (Sharon) Juno of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Randi) Juno of St. Paul, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th and Ogden. The visitation will resume on Saturday from 9:30 until the 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial at Cathedral of Christ the King Church, 1410 Baxter Avenue. Reverend Fr. Adam Laski will be the celebrant.

Pallbearers will be Richard Stuhr, Bruce Stuhr, Darren Stuhr, Bradley Wick, Trevor Wick, and Nicholas Wick.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior, where military honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post 435.
