Patrick Litersky, 82, of Superior, WI, passed away on February 27, 2025, at Twin Ports Health Services.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jeanne Litersky, his two daughters, Ann Litersky and Catherine Litersky, and two grandchildren.

Patrick was born July 11, 1942, to Arnold and Dorothy (MacDonald) Litersky. He grew up on a farm in Ashland, WI, as the eldest of seven children.

When he was young, Patrick served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He expressed gratitude that he never had to take a life and was fortunate to have never been wounded.

Patrick worked for U.S.S. Great Lakes Fleet, retiring after many years. After that, he was home and could spend more time with Jeanne and his daughters.

He and his family liked traveling to Ashland to visit relatives and see the land he owned there. At home, he found joy in having a vegetable garden in the backyard. The whole family helped with the garden and enjoyed the fresh produce.

Patrick's ashes will be scattered on his land at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lake Superior Zoo in his memory.
