Paul M. Brown, 91, died Monday, March 21, 2016, with his family in Superior.
He was born on July 30, 1924, in Superior, the son of Paul and Edna (Johnson) Brown.
Paul was a self-employed dairy farmer and landlord. He was an avid cribbage player, Green Bay Packers fan, and enjoyed fishing. He was a part of several organizations including the Farmers Union, Workers Mutual Board of Directors, and Douglas County Board. He was also a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Poplar.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife of over 50 years, Martha; and sister-in-law, Laura.
Survivors include his son, Daniel (Karmyn) Brown of Superior; granddaughter, Christine Beuning of Woodbury, MN; grandson, Todd Brown of Superior; great-granddaughters, Morgan and Zoe; brother, Clarence 'Snooky' Brown of Poplar; many nieces and nephews; and the Wallace family, Johnny, Sheila, Kelsey, and Alfred.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, WI, and will resume on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 10 until the 11 a.m. service at Peace Lutheran Church in Poplar, WI.
